At S&L Prime A/C & Heating, we tell people we’re a certified Mitsubishi Elite Diamond contractor, and they don’t know what that means. Which is why we wanted to write this blog today, outlining what the certification means and how an HVAC company can receive it.
Mitsubishi Certified Training
When any HVAC company becomes an Elite Diamond Contractor, their technicians receive in-person training directly from Mitsubishi Certified Training programs. In these programs, technicians are trained in installing and maintaining all heating and cooling systems but receive specific training on how to work with Mitsubishi systems. A Diamond Elite Contractor should be able to provide service on or install any HVAC system.
Diamond Elite Contractors Register Installations
To achieve and maintain Elite Diamond status, a minimum number of units need to be registered with Mitsubishi Electric per year. This means that Mitsubishi Electric will cover these units with a manufacturer’s parts warranty. This process also means that there is a continual verification of skills. By verifying these units, Mitsubishi Electric ensures all Diamond Elite Contractors are able to actively demonstrate their abilities.
The Best of the Best
Within the HVAC industry, there is no higher recognition than being a Mitsubishi Elite Diamond Contractor. There are, of course, quality HVAC technicians out there without this certification, but trying to pick them out amongst the amateurs can be an impossible task. When you hire a Diamond contractor, you know you’re getting excellent service.
